Travel
We are so grateful that so many of you will be travelling to be there with us on our special day,
so below are some of the easiest and quickest ways to reach the venue:
TRAINS
There are direct trains from London Paddington and London Waterloo to Exeter Central and Exeter St Davids, both of which are a 20 minute taxi away from Powderham Castle.
FLIGHTS
For anyone travelling from up North, or from further overseas, it may be quicker to fly to Exeter Airport, which is a 20 minute taxi away from Powderham Castle. There are cheap domestic UK flights operated by FlyBe.
DRIVING
To avoid small country lanes, take the M5 and exit at junction 30. Turn right onto the A379 and just after you pass the IKEA, take the exit to stay on the A379, and you'll go under the "Welcome To Exeter" bridge. Straight over at the first roundabout, over the Exeter Canal bridges and left at the next roundabout, from where you can follow road signs to Powderham Castle.

Alternatively, if you want a more scenic route, take the M3, followed by the A303 and A30 which meets the M5 at junction 29. And get your cameras at the ready as you will drive straight past Stonehenge.

There is parking available in the small village car park, next to the Church, however there are limited spaces. It may be easier therefore to park at the Castle (about a 10 minute walk away) and then carpool/walk down to the Church. The groomsmen will also be on hand to provide lifts between the two venues.

Below are contact details for some local taxi firms to get to and from the venue.
